Yearbook Coordinator Needed
MGES is looking for a yearbook coordinator for the 2017-2018 school year and beyond. This person would shadow our CURRENT coordinator next year, and take over 2018-2019 school year.
Specifically, we need help with:
1) Marketing and sales
2) Coordination and communication with volunteers, the yearbook printer, faculty/staff, and administration
3) Photographing school-wide events and uploading the images to the yearbook site
4) Graphic design - setting up the templates in the online yearbook program, arranging the uploaded photos, and creating a customized cover to be the sent to the printer in early October (we can always resort to using a stock cover provided by the printers, but they're unattractive and limited in their ability to feature the individual 5th graders as has been the custom over the last several years).

Great news! The MGES Directory is ready!

Please note, if you already have the App downloaded on your device, you do not need to do anything.
There are several people who paid for the Directory, but have not logged onto the HAC yet.
The HAC is the UD School Districts Home Access Center. Your family's information needs to be entered so your information gets released to our Directory. EVERY STUDENT needs to be registered and updated.
You will not see your name in the MGES Directory if you have NOT completed the HAC.
If you do not remember your password, please contact Mrs. Schultz in the MGES Office.
Also, please make sure you fill out all of the questions (1-4) regarding the PTO/PTA Publications in the "Additional Information" tab.

Jump Rope Camp
To get us excited about our Jump Rope for Heart activities, our PTO brought in the Bungee Jumpers Jump Rope Team. We learned that they also run a summer camp program that your kids may enjoy. Check out more information here: Jump Rope Camp.pdf
Volleyball registration is now open.
The UDJAA spring volleyball program is a shortened clinic focused on 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who are looking to learn the basic skills of volleyball.
The cost of the program is minimal at $30 and will cover five 90 minute clinics.
The five clinics will be held at the Upper Dublin High School main gym on the following five Saturday’s from 1:00-2:30:

New Vaccination Requirements: Reminder to all families that as of August, 2017 changes to the school vaccination requirements outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health will be in effect. On the first day of school unless your child has a medical or religious/philosophical exemption he/she must have had at least one dose of the required vaccinations or risk exclusion from school. Implemented changes to the school immunizations are intended to protect students against vaccine-preventable diseases. Please see District website for a link to the Immunization document provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
